Beautiful spacious villa in a glorious part of France. The villa is immaculate on the inside and outside. The swimming pool is wonderful. The bedrooms and living areas are clean and comfortable. The leisure equipment went down a treat with the children – badminton, table tennis, table football and bicycles! The host is proactive, helpful and friendly. We had the best time and would love to return. Highly recommended!

We rented Villa Rudel for a month to belatedly celebrate my husband’s birthday with different family members and friends joining us over the 4 week period. The villa was superb even better than the photos on the website. Light airy spacious and really well equipped with high standard of appliances. The grounds are extensive and peaceful we really enjoyed our Boules, table football and tennis matches but best surprise was viewing the visiting wildlife from the bench up behind the boules pitch watching the family of otters, deer and hares. It was a truly special place and holiday

Nous avons passé 15 jours fabuleux dans une superbe maison aux équipements intérieurs et extérieurs haut de gamme. C’est la qu’on voit la différence entre une maison habitée par ses propriétaires et une maison à des fins exclusivement locatives. Juliet est extrêmement réactive à toute demande. Le cadre est fabuleux, reposant dans une région magnifique.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille à la Villa Rudel. Les échanges avec les propriétaires et le processus de réservation ont été très faciles. La villa est très spacieuse, décorée avec goût et très bien entretenue. Elle se situe au calme, au milieu de la nature. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine, et des équipements sportifs. Il y a tout l’équipement nécessaire pour pouvoir cuisiner. Nous avons apprécié les « goodies » de bienvenue. La région est magnifique. La campagne aux alentours est très belle et il y a de nombreux charmants villages à visiter. Une mention spéciale à Elisabeth auprès de laquelle nous avions commandé un délicieux repas livré à la villa pour le soir de notre arrivée. Nous recommandons sans réserve cette location pour des vacances très réussies!

Villa Rudel was amazing. Definitely to be recommended to family and friends. It was so much more than we were expecting. The house felt airy and had a modern fit-out but still within a beautiful French rustic house and gardens/surroundings. The host Juilet has put together a beautiful space and thought of every detail. We also ordered a dinner (from local chef Elizabeth) for our arrival which was a not only delicious but a god send as we ending up arriving late. It was all ready for us to heat up and dig in. All in all holiday perfection!

Villa Rudel is a very special place and we completely enjoyed our stay there. The property is beautiful and the house is very well equipped. The size of the home suites two families of 4 perfectly, with each room having its own bathroom. The youngest boys particularly loved the loft room. The adults thought the kitchen was really fabulous. The pool and surrounding gardens are gorgous. We quite enjoyed many fun onsite activities such as petanque, soccer, darts, and table tennis. In addition, the gym and laundry facilities were particularly handy. Someday we hope to go back.

We have stayed in many holiday homes in France and Villa Rudel is by far the best. The appearance and quality of the accommodation is superb: the spaciousness of the house and its grounds; the comfort and style of the furniture and the extensive range of additional facilities – it is impossible to find fault with this gorgeous house and all it offers. We made full use of the pool, games and the beautiful grounds and setting – interspersed with trips to stunning towns nearby. The owners instantly responded to any queries we had and helped to make it wonderful, relaxing family holiday.

Cette maison est située dans un département juste magnifique et authentique, sans trop de touristes et elle se situe dans un environnement tellement serein et reposant en pleine nature. Et pourtant dans un rayon de 50kms, vous pourrez visiter des villages merveilleusement préservés et une nature qui l’est également avec des habitants chaleureux et courtois. Quand à la maison en elle même , comme dit dans le titre, difficile de lui trouver un défaut…Elle a TOUT…!! Déjà, elle a été sublimement restaurée avec goût, est particulièrement spacieuse, et chaque chambre offre un univers différent très agréables…Je vous fais grâce des terrasses superbes(ombres ou soleil, selon l’heure), et une piscine magnifique avec une pergola avec salon, super reposant pour les longues et chaudes journées d’été.
En conclusion, une quinzaine merveilleusement passée avec mes amis et je tenais a remercier avec force, la qualité de la communication réactive entretenue avec Juliet, l’heureuse propriétaire de cette superbe propriété.
Bravo et merci d’avoir contribué à nos excellentes vacances durant cette année 2020 si particulière.
Futurs locataires, allez y les yeux fermés…!!! 😉

Villa Rudel is a beautiful converted house in an idyllic setting. The owners Mike & Juliet think about every detail (eg mosquito plugs, washing powder). There are 2 outside terraces for different times of the day (one covered). The pool is fabulous with steps for younger/older people with very comfortable loungers and a covered seated area with sofas – great for taking refuge from the midday sun, reading, relaxing. The house is extremely well equipped, great for cooking. Very highly recommended!

Villa Rudel is a terrific spot. A beautiful house with fabulous grounds, it is really nicely kitted out and extremely well kept. Everything is considered and catered for. The outdoor seating areas and the pool are perfect with a shady and sunny spot at all times during the day. The herb and kitchen garden a really nice bonus too. Lots of activities from picking tomatoes in the kitchen garden, going on a bike ride, table football, table tennis, Wii, a football net and plenty of bits and bobs for the babies too. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back (for the fifth time) next year.

We stayed at this wonderful holiday home for the 3rd year in a row. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and we enjoyed all the extras including a welcome pack with delicious strawberry jam from the garden, use of the bicycles including a childs bike, games of darts and table tennis in the downstairs area in the evenings and leisurely afternoons in the pool. Another highlight was seeing the Tour De France going through nearby Tonnac. Villa is immaculate with beautiful grounds and lots of areas outdoors to sit out depending on the time of day. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic house – beautiful setting gorgeous pool

From the moment of arrival you know this is going to be a special holiday. Juliet & Mike are wonderful hosts and think of every detail (eg there are mosquito plugs in rooms & UK/Europe adapters, cleaning products for your stay). We were met with a welcome pack of delicious local produce and some essentials to get started. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and great for those who like cooking. There are three outdoor seating areas – 2 terraces and the pool area with a lovely canopied seating area and loungers. One terrace is for early morning and evening and the other covered terrace for during the day. The house itself is beautifully restored with lots of attention to detail. All bedrooms have very comfortable beds and good quality linens and are ensuite. We were so happy here that we have returned twice since our first visit 😀 Very highly recommended.

Villa Rudel is a really excellent property. Everything inside and out is to a very high standard. Outside there are so many different areas to enjoy:- excellent pool and sunbathing space, lovely seated canopy space, several dining options, great garden and surrounding area to explore and also the fab games area where we enjoyed family competitions on table tennis, darts etc. Mike and Juliet have done a superb job of restoring the house and it is very comfortable as well as being beautifully laid out. There is everything you could need for a great holiday and the kitchen is very well equipped. The instructions given to us were very clear and helped to ensure we didn’t need to worry about anything. The welcome pack was wonderful and Juliet was very keen to ensure we had everything we needed. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Villa Rudel.

I am reluctant to write this review because it will help spread the word about how good Villa Rudel is and l will have trouble booking it again. The house presents even better than it looks on the web. It has every facility you could want. Very clean and well presented. Juliet and Mike are great hosts – very welcoming and very kindly provided bread, milk ,tea,coffee and especially other essentials of wine and beer on arrival. The house is a great base for exploring numerous lovely towns in the area. Nothing to fault and would highly recommend Villa Rudel

“We had a lovely family holiday here with our 18 month old daughter. We loved the generous size (and that everyone had an ensuite!) and the wonderfully landscaped gardens. The hosts provided a cot, booster seat and stair-gates and the swimming pool was behind a gate and up some steps so we found it very baby-friendly. The gamesroom (and good wifi) kept us busy on the single rainy day. We really appreciated the effort the hosts went to provide us with a welcome basket (and stocked fridge) as well as guides and recommendations to the lovely towns nearby. We look forward to our return trip!”

Fantastic house with stunning pool area
This was our second stay at Villa Rudel and we weren’t disappointed. We are a three generation family group and there’s something for everybody here. Highlights for us are the stunning pool area (great sized pool, masses of seating and sun beds and lovely shaded area), spacious layout of the house (works well for different age groups), table tennis barn and bikes. There was a delicious selection of goodies on arrival and the fresh produce from the garden was lovely too. The house is fantastically well equipped and immaculately clean. Can’t fault it … but can highly recommend it! We enjoyed trips to Cordes-sur-Ciel, Puycelci, Albi and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val.

“Fantastic house – the best house we have visited in 25 years visiting France! Sympathetically refurbished. We loved the spaces inside and outside the house – the different areas to sit outside, providing shade when needed were perfect. Fabulous pool and gazebo, lovely terraced landscaping. We were a party of 3 generations and everyone was very happy. The most striking aspect is the thoughtfulness of the hosts – from the welcome pack to the mosquito plugs to basic kitchen supplies. Stylish, stunning gem of a villa!

Villa Rudel has something for everyone no matter how old you are. The owners have thought of everything so you can relax knowing that your kids are having fun at all times leaving you time to socialise in the beautiful communal areas or find a space to be alone and really unwind.
The house boasts 4 very cool bedrooms which are all en suite. Everything works and you can’t fail to have a good nights sleep. The lounge and kitchen have everything you need and there are very clear instructions to make sure everything works.
Outside are two sunny or shady tables to eat and the BBQ is a design triumph (I have already ordered one). Perhaps our favourite area was the pool located slightly above the house with a great Ibiza style chill out zone and lots of sun beds to relax on. The pool is a great size for keeping fit or playing games with the kids – and it felt very safe. Just a perfect focal point for families to enjoy their time here. There are also bikes, a table tennis table, darts and a gym!
We really appreciated the effort the owners have made to make a home from home which feels really contemporary and comfortable. The decor is subtle, sublime and absolutely spotless. The attention to detail is better than a posh hotel without any of the pretentiousness.
What was also great was the very generous welcome pack of locally sourced goodies which were delicious. There is also lots of very useful information about where to go and what to do. The kayaking is a must as well as a tour of nearby Cordes Sur Ciel.
Villa Rudel is without a doubt the best villa we have ever stayed in and can’t wait to go back. A total joy.

Fantastic venue for a family holiday. Beautiful house – really well equipped with lovely pool and great outdoor facilities – in a stunning part of France (gorgeous countryside, not too touristy). Lots to do at Rudel and further afield, plus plenty of shops and restaurants within half an hour’s drive. No complaints!

Paradis dans le Tarn
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Villa Rudel dans un magnifique, calme et reposant cadre champêtre, les propriétaires sont charmants, très prévenants et de très bon conseil pour visiter la région et les domaines viticoles. Une grande et belle piscine nous accueillait après nos promenades et visites, avant de partager un moment de détente avec Mike et Juliet et leur appétitif convivial. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Surrounded by countryside, vineyards, forests and beautiful villages, the property offers complete peace and quiet. Everything has been thought of with your wellbeing in mind. The pool is superb, the garden reflects the owners’ love for this beautiful home. The personal touches from our host from when we arrived were lovely. Lots of activities available: cycling, table football, darts, table tennis, fitness room, etc. 3 different areas to eat outside depending on the weather. After a week of relaxation, unfortunately it’s time to leave…
